Fangirling.

Hello, I haven't been writing for awhile so hear is a little explanation. Basically I just haven't been able to but my feeling into words and things are to complicated to explain but they are slowly getting better. But even though there is that feeling of hope there is that expectation for things to go down hill and I hope that doesn't happen. So that's reasoning to why I haven't been on here as late. But anyway I wanted to show you guys this amazing trailer I found while watching rage (the music is amazing) this morning and I'm so glad I found this. I'm not sure if any of you have watched Skins, And if you have and can relate to the sassful beautifulness of Gen 1/2  (Because I found gen 3 so disappointing.) "sorry I'm not sorry" .. But For those who haven't watched it I'm not giving anything away don't stress. I would recommend you to watch is if you haven't and are over the age of 15. there are also aftermath of the characters Effy,Cassie and Cook which are called Fire,Pure and Rise which are amazing. But for you to understand them you'll need to watch Gen 1/2. But anyway lets get to the chase, Pure which includes Cassie (Hannah Murray) and Jakob (Olly Alexander) and It is amazing and beautiful. But the trailer consists with these two people that are so amazingly talented and quirky just like Pure. The Trailer I'm talking about though is the movie God Help The Girl. Which is a musical project which as far as I know is based on the band Belle and Sebastian and is produced by Stuart Murdoch. The main character is Eve (I think) which is played by the talented and beautiful Emily Browning. So here it is finally..Sorry for the suspense everyone but it looks so amazing and I hope you enjoy and are/will be fan-girling as much as me.

Sadness and talks about small events that are taking place and are somehow taking over my emotions and life.

Lately I haven't been able to sleep and have been getting really stressed about school and people and Just feeling really unsteady and kind of feeling to blame for these events..And I can't stop watching Perks of being a wall flower which is the only good thing going or I guess you could say some sort of medication to help me relax and feel better that is easily in reach other then family and friends. But anyway..I don't really feel like seeing people or people who have some sort of connection to me being unhappy but then I feel selfish because I feel even though others have created the problem I have made it effect me so much and I just feel so emotionally drained and my chest is tight and unsteady and I feel like my whole body is pulsing and I don't know what to do..I feel like my body is shutting down and my head hurts and I cant sleep so I'm really tired. I think I'm just going to vent and relax and write and try and sleep and get some inspiration from my dreams or at least some sort of escape. Anyway sorry for the rant and being all down and negative but I need some sort of physical release and I haven't written on here in awhile so here is something and I guess this is better then nothing..
Well, Thank you for being here and listening to me complain about nothing but feelings and negativity.

A short story about love.

I was expecting a blemish, But I couldn't see any. I may have been blinded by my infatuation or my ignorance. But for this moment I was so deeply weak with the idea of them, I was. And from that day on, it became a extreme fixation. It was a really deep and emotional high whenever I noticed something about their body language and the way they spoke seemed so resourceful but effortless and I envied that. I wanted to admire them for the parts and moments that nobody noticed, whether that be for a split second I could experience that type or admiration. It was pure and raw and sonic.

Hello again.
It's been some time and I haven't really found inspiration o write about or talk about. So I have decided to just post some resent photos that I have edited and write about them. I live in a small old town which has a lot of old church's and such. When taking walks I always see beauty in my surroundings. So here they are..

 This is a photo of a house. "dahh" But it really stood out to me..it just reminded me of a movie or film due to it's diversity. I really have no idea.. the house would be Ideal I guess to be a romantic lake house where to quirky teens fall in love. I don't know.. I also feel it would speak to a lot of people due to it's structure. I chose to edit this photo in dark shades to kind of give it that late night-lit look. I also think it gives it a sense of wonder as who is behind the camera.

For the church I edited them tinted so you could really admire the detail in the architecture. I love editing this way because I feel it gives them a unique, blank, detailed look. I do look forward to taking more photos and one day getting a professional camera so I can practice this more. I hope you like these and please give me some feedback.

I have been thinking and taking in the wise words of others that I look up to in the world. And due to things kind of going down hill for me lately I feel I have found myself feeling alittle better about the shitty situations that have been taken place as of late in my life, And feel that the concept of things that make you happy mostly involves things like films, People, Music, Hobbies, Weather.. Just to name a few. And I feel these things have really influence me to this day as a person and I wonder wether these kind of things have shaped the way I have acted about these situations I'm currently going through. If that is the case or not it doesn't really matter, I want to start changing things. I may have be thinking abit dramatically about these changes and have been writing them down such as..Using the different aspects of my personality or identity and taking different aspects of myself and focusing on the main aspects of my personality the focused on how I acted when confronted with these situations and sort of avoiding them or focusing on one aspect more then another until things get better for me and I am able to move on. But I think that over dramatic Idea will most likely fail due to the type of behaviour (not that the shit situations were my fault) being used may have a negative outcome in the future.If..that..makes sense. But there is another aspect that I heard Tavi Gevinson talk about at one of her talks..If that's what it's called..anyway Talks..She was talking about fangirling and how it's one the happiest thing that someone can be, A fan. Because it gives us something of someone to relate to and almost it being a reflection of yourself..as it's kind of a element or a part of you.. and for the Film, Person, Song or hobbies there is always that constant relation to you due to you being a fan and them or it being famous or popular..and that connection  making you feel not so alone which as a teen isn't that hard of a thing to achieve because they need you..just like you feel you need them.( THE REFLECTION). Anyway I though what she was talking about was so, very, extremely wise. Another thing she said is due to being a fan you can turn things that may be shitty and relate them to things that you love or "fangirl"over. Like places or items or experiences you have had..and this makes things a little bit more bearable. This all probably doesn't make sense to you but I felt like writing and venting so I hope it's a good read at least..

The 50's vintage lace dress.

I have always been in love with the pastel 50's lace dresses. My love first came for these beautiful gowns was when watching the movie Grease as a child (5 years old). Which is one of my all time favorites and I would VERY MUCH recommended if you have not seen it go watching it right now!. But anyway..I thought I would write a column on these pieces and where I have found them most common for sale. It took me so long to find a website which sold these. The only really good site I found was Etsy.com Which is a amazing site for handmade,vintage and unique pieces you wouldn't find anywhere else.

The dress that Patty Simcox wore to the dance/prom in the film grease was a stunner. Just so y'all know who I'm talking about here is a photo of the lovely but very annoying Patty Simcox.  

LOOK AT THE BEAUTY OF THIS BEAUTY..
It makes me want to dance and twirl like a little girl oh my.
This dress is from Etsy at @vintagevortex which also has a WIDE range of beautiful dresses that i droll over.
Anyway one of the main characters, Sandy..

 Had a very cute but simple gown which was white with a very thin layer of tulle and a unique neckline. In the background you really get a great look at all of the gowns but for more of a closeup of dresses WATCH THE MOVIE. Anyway..Here is a photo..

I feel they didn't need to draw attention the the dress due to the amazing dancing skills. The dress is white and simple..but the small detail makes it very unique. I found this dress which reminded me of hers here..

Although this it very much puffy and lacy (Unlike hers) It's still white and simple and unique..
I adore this dress and you can find this on and many like it at the same Etsy shop at Vintagevortex.
Now for Frenchy, Frenchy was such a unique, cute and quirky character. I love her dress as it was cute, Very out there and very much suited her character..

Anyway her dress looked something like this..

Athough hers had some red on it.. Nothing a red ribbon and broach couldn't change..
This dress is also from the same Esty store @VintageVortex. 
Now for Betty Rizzo.Her dress was also different and beautiful..not pastel and lacy but still beautiful. Here is a photo..

Her dress was a sort of mermaid styled dress. It's red with black spots all over and a ribbon on the back and a complimentary black flower corsage. The dress really suited her character, It was sassy and  fierce and very out there. Which I love. Here is a dress that reminded me of the same dress

NOW, yes this dress is very different but it's very out there and beautiful and reminded me of the character Better Rizzo. Pared with black accessories will complete the look. I also feel this dress is more feminine..(not that hers wasn't) but this dress is more girly and softer with the use of fabric and feathers.You can find this dress also on Etsy @OffBroadwayVintage

Hello, My name is Bree.
This is my entry or bio blog post and it is my first. I enjoy sewing and art (Drawing and painting), Anything that is creative is a great distraction for me and a desirable outlet. I enjoy Horror movies, Vintage anything and everything and raisin toast. I'm not sure what the theme of this blog will be but I'm looking at new interests and this seemed to be a great way to start something that I may or may not enjoy. But hopefully I will love this and make at least someone happy. Writing isn't my strongest point but maybe this will help in that area which is something I have been interested in.
